As My Day Goes By| Moments.Thoughts.Travel

Dear Father

there you are, still standing. even weaker, but you still do. how does it feel like to be you? does the path you are walking feel lighter, or is it just you becoming stronger and unstoppable?

i've seen so many people your age have been cherishing the life like never been before. Living the best life they have. but, are you?

i've seen you nothing but still surviving, in the hardest unimaginable way.

how does it feel like to be you? how could you still running when your lungs bleeding? and the feet you've been using repeat to breaking?

your lover left, the friends you used to call were gone fast

your family all hidin', your children sleepin'

how does it feel like to be you? what can i do as your terrible, hard-to-love daughter?

you tired.  you tremblin'. you dying.
but what's worst than guessing soon you will be dead yet God makes you still alive?

here you are, still fighting. even weaker, wishing what's left to strengthen.
