The Morning Hours
By the morning hours, and by the night when it is stillest
your lord has neither forsaken you, O Muhammad, nor is He displeased.
And verily, the Hereafter will be better for you than the present.
And, indeed, in time will your Sustainer grant you [what your heart desires],
and you shall be well-pleased.
Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?
And He found you lost and guided you.
Did He not find you poor and made you self-sufficient?
